Duda Balje reasons fuel expenses, complains he has to wake up early

One of the MPs who has spent the most is the representative of Bosniak communities Duda Balje, who has spent a total of 870 euros on fuel. Contacted by Insander newspaper, Balje has argued that, according to her, she has been very active in the past two months for participation in commissions and [...] hearings.
Contacted by Insander newspaper, Balje has argued that, according to her, she has been very active in the past two months for participation in commissions and extraordinary sessions that increased because of the political situation.
For these amounts, I have not decided on my own, but the regulation that has been in force since 2008 for each MP. Because I am more active with participation in each commission and every session has increased the sum.”, she said.
Balje says MPs from the Republika Srpska List have received 20 euros, even though they have boycotted each assembly session.
The “Deputies of Republika Srpska List have received 20 euros, even though they have boycotted each session. And I've attended every session I've been invited to.
According to her, these expenses have been made under the regulation of the Assembly that has been in force since 2008.
With the constitution regulations that we've been in force since 2008, under which each MP who travels 30 kilometers in one direction, spending on committee presence even at the session is 10 euros. For MPs who are travelling up to 60km, it is 20 euros, while MPs travelling in one direction more than 60km, it is 30 euros in wages.”, she stressed.
Balje has also declared that this high amount has been collected because of the political situation over the past two months and, according to her, has been forced to travel every day Prizren Pristina.
In addition, under the regulation there is also the payment of the deputies' motivation for participation in the assembly, commissions and so on. We as a parliamentary group are a small group of eight. Each of us has two commissions. I'm the head of the Commission for Human Rights and a member of the Commission for Boards and Finance, we usually have hearings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. In the last two months, because of the political situation we've had extraordinary sessions and I've traveled Prizren by personal car every day and spent about 25-30 euros in fuel. Nor am I counting the wake-up at 6: 00 a.m. to be at 08.30 in Pristina, nor is the snow-dangered road. I didn't even get any more or less, in each committee presence I signed the participation.
