China is “on the ground at the UN Security Council emergency meeting, where it is discussing the situation in Ukraine.
China's Ambassador to the UN, Zhang Jun, at the Security Council meeting has given a short speech, demanding that all parties involved in the Ukraine issue remain “, CNN reports.
All parties involved should refrain and seek reasonable solutions to each other's concerns”, he has said.
During the present day China has asked its citizens in Ukraine not to stay in areas endangered by a possible attack or to have an opportunity for conflict between parties.
China's request to its citizens has come after Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision, which after recognising the independence of two self-declared areas within Ukraine's territory, sent Russian military troops, which he called <x0 peacekeeping commissions”.
Putin's move has prompted numerous reactions by world powers leaders.
The US has warned harsh sanctions soon, until the European Union has announced that soon they will agree on actions it will take against Russia.
