Bislimi was written to congressmen who signed the letter Serbia presented as US ally

Bislim wrote on Facebook that the congressers were informed that the letter sent to President Beden is filled with unequivocal.

I am writing to you today in my quality as the former Deputate of the Republic of Kosovo and as Executive Member of the Albanian-American Civic League Board to express my sincere concern about your letter to President Biden for Serbia on February 4, 2022, which was signed by your 14 colleagues”, Bislimi wrote. I was born and raised in Kosovo, I experienced the brutal Serbian occupation of my home country as a child, and as a youth (adolent) I was a refugee separated from my family during the 1998-99 Kosovo war. Later, I had the opportunity to study and live in the U.S., including the engagement of the International Convention Relations Committee under the leadership of the late Tom Lantos in the early 2000s. As the person who sees at the US Congress the Guardian of Democracy and Human Rights, I am deeply concerned with the incorrect content of your letter and much more with the extremely incorrect presentation made to Serbia”, he wrote.

On the other hand, Bislim in his letter also mentioned the killing of the Bytyci brothers.

Your letter, if you forget to highlight something mentioned at each meeting or exchange of letters by American officials with Serbia: the brutal murder of three American citizens of Albanian descent, the Bytyci brothers. They were killed at the end of the war in Kosovo in 1999. Serbia has not yet brought the perpetrators of this crime to justice. To put aside this fact is almost an attempt to conceal a Serbian crime against US citizens. No member of Congress should put aside such a crime against American nationals”, he wrote.

In his letter to congressmen, Bislimi has written that there are no claims written in their letter that Serbia and the US enjoy genuine security relations, as Serbia considers NATO as a aggressor.

Your “Lerra claims that Serbia and the US enjoy a sincere relationship in terms of security and protection, but that does not stand. Realistically, Serbia considers NATO aggressive and historically served as Russia's protracted hand to mix in Europe's internal affairs. In all of Europe, there are no greater and more fair allies of Russia than Serbia. I remind you that it is the same Serbia that in 2019 bought the S-400 air missile defence system from Russia, despite the American demand not to do so. It is the same Serbia that in 2011 allowed Russia to build a military base in Nis, thus giving Russia the opportunity to balance American military presence in Bondstheel of Kosovo”, Bislimi wrote.
