O BET for the pandemic situation: Europe may soon enter a long period of calm

World Health Organisation's Europe Director (OBSH) says the continent may soon enter a long-standing <x1-term silence <x1-long period” in terms of the Covid-19 pandemic, reports the BBC. Dr. Hans Kluge cited high rates of vaccination, the end of winter, and the less severe nature of Omitron variant.
Speaking to reporters, he said: “This period of higher defence should be seen as a <x1-bederm <x1mbal” that can bring us lasting peace. ”
It comes after a number of European countries put an end to the limitations of Covid-19. Dr Cluj said that some 12 million new cases of the virus were identified across Europe last week as the highest registered, but officials have not seen a significant increase in those needing critical hospital care.
Denmark became the first country in the European Union to lift all rules, including wearing facial masks, earlier this week.
While the cases are still relatively high there, authorities say the virus no longer qualifies as a “critical threat” with high-scale inoculation that helps protect against serious diseases despite Omitron's rapid spread.
Norway has since announced its relaxation, and Sweden announced today that it will also lift almost all its internal restrictions on February 9th.
“Pandemia is not finished, but we are entering a completely new phase”, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson told reporters.
Officials there pledged to stay “rigile” against the virus, with some remaining instructions in the country, such as staying at home if you have Compy-19 symptoms. Unexploited people are also required to avoid crowds, and certain border access restrictions are still in force.
Dr Cluj from O BSH on Thursday urged European nations to continue with their vaccination and monitoring campaigns, despite its speeches on a <x0mbal “marm”>>
“I believe it is possible to respond to new variants that will inevitably appear without reinstalling the kind of divisive measures we needed earlier,” added Dr Cluj.
It called for individual responsibility, further protection of endangered groups, and what he described as <x0 drastic and uncompetitive breakthroughs in the division of vaccines beyond limits” to help protect the world.
Relief of restrictions across Europe follows similar decisions in England and other United Kingdom countries in January.
