Today there are no fewer heroes than there has ever been before. Being a soldier is always a challenge.
Members of the Kosovo Security Force are not being trained simply for glory. They don't care how many medals they win, or every time they see their names on television or in the portal. They're there, in the barracks, in the field, every minute of every day engaging in what they believe. They are trained and exercised that their level of preparation be high enough that their will to maintain peace and ensure security for their families and the nation in general. We should all be very proud of them. But being proud is not enough. We need to remember that they need our support.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo has invested more than ever in advancing the Kosovo Security Force during these 19 months.
Our continuing military forces are being equipped with the most modern military weapons, while new officers are being educated at the world's best-known academys.
Many jobs have been done by investing up to 99 % more than the preliminary years in the Kosovo Security Force.
With investments in equipment but the completion of three basic MM/ The KSF, more young than 18-25 years old, will join the Kosovo Security Force.
Our diversity is one of our strongest points as the Komb, and we will continue to try to have the Kosovo Army reflect society on every level within its ranks. Ensure equal opportunities and greater involvement will strengthen our army, yet under current geopolitical circumstances, the war in Ukraine, we are aware that much more needs to be done, should all be contributed together in different forms to the army that is our iron shield.
The exiles, business owners, but and ordinary citizens of this country, the middle class of society for income, but the highest income from the homeland, have always been the greatest support for any housing movement.
Today, while we have the Army and Republic, we need your support to consolidate the Kosovo Security Force at the NATO member armies level, so the democratic values of our state are protected, and the lives of every citizen are certain.
So, I invite you to contribute to the Security Fund, to state interests, to the strength that will protect your homeland, and to the future of your children.
It is for us to leave this land better than we inherited. We have a duty to protect the future of the people.
