NORTHERN VERY FROM US
Yesterday, at the American Embassy in Pristina, I was honored to be received by US Ambassador Mr. Jeffrey Havenier, at a meeting that is so special and so friendly. To be honored by the United States, beyond honor, is to encourage work and commitment. From Ambassador Havenier officially accepted the Texas State Flag waved on the State Congress Cup in my favour, along with the Texas House Thanksgiving Certificate, with this dedication: “for my work in strengthening ties between Texas and Kosovo,” on exactly the 20th anniversary of my first commitment to Texas as a student. One of the jobs that most fill my soul is that in Texas I had arranged the “scholarship program. Education for Peace” through which dozens of merit students from Kosovo were educated there and then made a big name in the entire United States.
Also, this extraordinary honor is the assessment of my work for almost two decades in lobbies and engagements for our national cause with the highest political figures in the US Capitol Hill. For me, my commitment continues to be a guide to good and good work for the nation's country.
Our friendship with the United States is not only unique but it should be permanent. It's the backbone of our advancement as state of nation. /Periksopi/
