Sports Minister Ceku: Police injury at a basketball game is shameful

Ceku stressed that hurting policemen in a basketball match is shameful, unacceptable, and punishable.

The first of Sports stressed that fan groups, on behalf of the support of their heart clubs, are destroying the sports spirit.

“Sport is not war. Gyms and sports fields are not for “trima” that have a problem with restraint. Because of some, we are all suffering, it is undergoing Kosovo sport. Fan groups, on behalf of their heart clubs' support, are destroying the sports spirit and turning gyms and sports fields into uncertain environments for sports citizens”, he added.

Sports activity is a time of entertainment for our families, for all age groups indiscriminately. Some of them have become terrified of parents who want to enjoy sports with their children”.

He added that Kosovo prosecutors and courts should be more effective in serving sentences for hooligans.
