So has the Office for Kosovo announced in the Government of Serbia, through which the contract link is becoming.
In the communiqué, it has not been explained in which Serbian institutions will be engaged, but it has been said that the payments will be brought to the workers' accounts in December.
However, in the communique it has been said that these workers will receive from the state of Serbia all the revenues they have received from Kosovo institutions.
The promise given by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, our citizens in Kosovo and Metohija, who have left the institutions, that the state will take care of each of them and that no one will remain without the support of the state”, is said in the communique.
Kosovo institutions have not given the exact number of resigned Serbs, but Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said their number is about 3,500.
According to the Office for Kosovo announcement in Serbia's Government, with these contracts, Serbs who have abandoned institutions “will regulate all legal obligations from labour, pensions, health insurance, etc....
Recall that from the first week of November, hundreds of Kosovo Serbs have resigned from Kosovo institutions, including the Police, Court, Prosecutorial, and local and central institutions.
The resignations came as opposition to the Kosovo Government's plan for reregistering Serbian license plates in the north of the country, which Kosovo considers illegal.
As of November 21st, the Kosovo government is expected to start drafting fines for those who have not yet made this reregisteration.
