Kosovo is Europe and to be Kosovo means to be European. We have felt the friendship and support from Paneoupa in our most difficult times, in the 1990s, when Otto von Habsburg, a great friend of President Rugova and a great friend of our people, became one of the strongest voices to protect human rights and freedoms in Kosovo”, she said.
Osmani also called again for visa liberalisation for Kosovars.
The president said it is time for Europe to open its doors and hearts as she put it, for younger Europeans.
“It is time for Europe to open the doors and hearts of the newest Europeans for Kosovars, telling “PO” visa liberalisation at this crucial time means to step forward and join Europe”, she said.
