In late October, the Croatian government gave the go-ahead for its entry into the sea. Its length is 333m and can carry over 100,000 tons.
Its maximum speed exceeds 30 knots and is empowered by two nuclear reactors. It can sail for more than 20 years without fuel.
The ship's capacity is 3532 crew members and can hold 90 aircraft and helicopters. The ship was built in 2009, and the construction cost was $6.2 billion.
At the end of October, “U n SS George HW Bush” conducted NATO's great military exercise “Neptun Strike 2022”, which took place in the Mediterranean area until 28 October.
The exercise included over 80 aircraft, 14 ships and about 60,000 personnel from 24 NATO allies and partners, including Finland and Sweden.
