Kosovo's foreign policy with current government
No new recognition of the Republic of Kosovo. It's about strengthening the international subjectivity of our Republic during this government. For non-competitive and scandals by foreign policy protagonists, yes.
No clear policy, no co-ordination with international partners and friends.
The dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia that should be focused on mutual recognition has turned into negotiations for the license plates, which are continuing today. The most nontransparent government for dialogue to date. Untransparance calls transparency.
No new doors opened. The government risks closing open doors for our country.
No concrete achievements. Failures are.
In contrast, the Government said in its governing programme in the spring of 2021:
The foreign policy of the Republic of Kosovo is aimed at strengthening the international subjectivity of the Republic and for achieving that goal will be independent, serious, predictable and courageous, as well as co-operating with our allies and friends the United States and EU countries. With its clear political orientation for establishing the rule of law, the government of the Republic of Kosovo will open new doors. This massive civic orientation and trust have created broad sympathy and support for Kosovo's international partners and friends, as the new basis on which Kosovo's foreign policy will achieve its concrete goals. ”
