German ambassador for plates: I'm disappointed, me and the American government

Regarding the issue of vehicle license plates, Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, said the steps taken by the Kosovo government are in the right direction. “But I have to say that we as the EU and as Quint representatives, from the start we have said that Kosovo Government measures are legitimate, that [...]
“But I have to tell you that we as the EU and as the representatives of Qut, from the beginning we have said that the Kosovo Government measures are legitimate, that these plates should be changed, and by the beginning of the summer we have said we should present a process that would last 12 months”, Ambassador Rohde said, stressing that all of it is legitimate, but have a transitional phase of 12 months.
“This is also due to administrative implementation”, added
He further said the proposals could be taken or may not be taken.
If not taken, there may be exacerbating of the situation and what we do not need now is the passage of the” situation, the German ambassador to Kosovo said. According to him, there are many processes, so you want these measures to be implemented, and this should not disrupt other political processes.
Of course I'm disappointed, not just me, but the American government, because we believe this process should be artificially interrupted by the end of Kosovo, whether or not there will be only Kosovo license plates.
Germany's ambassador was reminded by journalist Rexhepi that every day in Kosovo, there are many signed agreements, which Serbia does not implement, and are constantly required by Kosovo to implement them, such as the Association. In this regard, the German ambassador said he is not here to tell what and when the Government should do.
“We have clearly said that the issue of the Association of Serb Major Communities should be resolved based on the Constitution of Kosovo”, he said, recalling that he knows that there are analysts who claim that, by this, a Republika Srpska is being created in Kosovo.
“is not our goal, but there are some agreements that need to be implemented, but under the Constitution, and that we don't even want to implement”, he said. “But there's an agreement to apply to, and that's also true for car license plates”.
