Former Commander The KLA was arrested on 16 March 2021 in Belgium. The Act against him was confirmed on June 12, 2020. He is charged with individual criminal responsibilities in various forms of war crimes as arbitrary detention, cruel treatment, torture and unlawful murder.
The defense for trial preparation conferences in the case of Peter Shala are said to have not yet received all the materials from the prosecution, while adding that they expect to be ready for trial in January 2023.
