In this case, the minister stressed that the ministry he heads remains committed to supporting the Kompact project, which is of extremely particular importance to the sustainability of the energy sector in the country, especially in diversifying energy resources.
While Albright expressed full readiness for close co-operation towards the faster implementation of the agreement, and stressed the importance of women's involvement in the field of energy, as well as the programme Kompact.
Albright said such investment in Kosovo is taking place at the right time, considering recent developments with the global energy crisis.
The Kompack programme applies under the signed agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America, represented by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and totals $226.7m.
