Specifically on April 26th this year it was decided that countries enjoying free visa-free travel to the Schengen area, to undergo a preliminary procedure to enter the EU.
Among those countries that will undergo this authorisation procedure are the Western Balkan countries, except Kosovo, which cannot travel freely to Europe without first being equipped with visas.
But since it is now in the process of talks “on visa liberalisation” system E TIAS, as the consensus of liberalisation, would apply to Kosovo.
The condition, as announced in April this year, would apply to Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
