Havenier: Association to be formed in accordance with Constitution, scommerge Republika Srpska

Ambassador of the United States to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier has said that association should be formed in accordance with the Constitution.

Havenier said nobody wants another Republika Srpska.

There are many ways to create this entity, to see this vow realised, that are fully in line with the Constitutional Court's decision. We love this and have encouraged it. Neither in the United States nor in our Western European partners has any interest in seeing something like another Serbian Republic or something that would disrupt the constitutional order or influence the good functioning of the Kosovo government” Hovier added.

“we welcome the moment when the Kosovo government will offer its ideas about the best way to fulfil this pledge that the Kosovo government has made through the Brussels agreement, but in order to respect its Constitution and that is in line with the Constitutional Court's decision” the US ambassador to Kosovo stressed.
