The chief of the EU Office in Belgrade, Emmanuel Giaufret, has said today that the EU's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has begun his visits to Pristina and later to Belgrade in an effort to find a solution to the vehicle registration issue with RKS signs.
Giaufret has said Brussels wants to avoid any possible crisis in Kosovo, RTV writes.
The French diplomat has said that all capacities should be activated to find a solution, as he says the focus should be on talks on comprehensive final agreements that will help citizens of both states live better.
“We will continue to work hard with both Belgrade and Pristina, we will be on the ground and work to find a solution”, Giaufret has said.
He commemorated that the issue of normalising Kosovo relations- Serbia has always been a key aspect of the enlargement process, adding that the EU is intensively committed to facilitating dialogue.
In the end, Giaufret has confirmed that the Association of Communists is still high in the EU agenda, stressing that s was the only unfulfilled and “that part is the responsibility of Belgrade, part of Pristina”.
