EU to accept Ukrainian refugees by March 2024

The European Union announced it will accept Ukrainian refugees at least by March 2024 and that those returning to their country will not need to return their provisional defence cards if they leave the war again.

EU Commission member responsible for internal affairs Ylva Johannson commented on the “mechanism of temporary defence” that the EU has decided on Ukrainians fleeing the war.
