EC President Ursula von der Leyen is in the Balkan region, where she has paid visits to Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
While her planned visit to Montenegro has been postponed, because of weather conditions.
According to Montenegrin media, the plane by which Von Der Leyen would travel towards Montenegro has not been able to get off the Belgrade airport due to the weather.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leenen's “The visit will be organised on a new date that will be mutually agreed on”, the EU statement said.
The EC president himself has reacted to the event.
“Mazi expected to visit your beautiful country soon again”, she wrote on Twitter.
Yesterday, Von der Leyen was in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, while today he was supposed to be in Montenegro as part of a regional visit to the Western Balkans.
