Brighton and Heaven Albion footballer Enock Mwepu has been forced to withdraw early from football after discovering an inherited heart disease.
The 24-year-old was not in good health while traveling to join Zambia in the national games.
He spent some time in the mountain hospital and then ran cardiac tests before he returned to Brighton.
Tests revealed that Mwepu had a hereditary condition that later appears in life.
Brighton has come out with a communique, stressing that the risk of him continuing to play is extremely large and could be fatal to his heart.
And the upset footballer also released a communique, sharing the bitter news.

“A boy from a small Zambian village called Chambishi has some news to share. He made sacrifices and worked hard to follow his dream of playing soccer at high levels and, with God's will and will, fulfilled the dream by managing to play on Premierliga. But some dreams, however, end, so I regret to have to show that I have to put my shoes on nails because of the medical advice I have received. This, however, is not the end of my involvement in soccer. I try to remain involved with other contributions”, Mwepu wrote excitedly.
Fortunately, the African midfielder eventually discovered the “effect in his heart and escaped the worst.
