The decision listed some of the reasons for the dismissal, among which “sharing of competitive media content by persons employed in RTK, undermines the image and editorial independence of the Public Broadcasting Centre”.
“For what Director General RTK's ongoing failure has failed to ensure that measures are taken according to the regulation in power”, written in the decision of January 19th, which was signed by Board Chairman Besnik Boletini, writes Insander newspaper.
But just seven days before Kastract was fired, Boletin had done the same, he had distributed a content of a competitive media.
On January 12th, the new chairman of the RTK Board had distributed a letter to Preportr, speaking of the necessity of systematic evaluation.

It is on this issue that Fadik Hoxha, chairman of the Kosovo Radio Television Union, has reacted to it.
“The signer of this decision, the chairman of the Board, either has not read the contents of the decision or claims it shouldn't be useful for the Board because on the 12th of this month he has distributed from his account in FBDP the content of another medium”, Hoxha writes in his reaction, broadcasts Insander newspaper.
Otherwise, Boletin was part of Preportr, the media in which he had worked for many years, before being appointed in December last year.
