Approximately three and a half tons of red peppers from Albania will be buried in Serbia.
On January 17th, before exporter Hazi Rhapi started the truck with 10 different vegetables to Serbia, he analyzed them in an accredited laboratory. According to this paper, the red pepper is qualitative.
On January 19th, the Serbian institution that controls the food decides to reanalyse the truck that was loaded with vegetables, from analysis it turned out that red pepper had a high load of pesticides.
Agronomas say that the more time I spend, the easier it is to break down the Aztec content of the pesticide. But, surprisingly, the second analysis conducted in the Serbian community showed otherwise.
Even though the exporter demanded re-annalization of the product in another EU state, this demand was dropped by the Serbian state, the decision was made for red pepper to be buried.
The economic damage done to the exporter Hazi Rhapi totals the value of 90,000 euros, he says the Albanian Ministry of Agriculture has after this event contacted the ministry of Serbian agriculture, to seek harvesting in food control that is done to Albanian agricultural products. / T CH
