The Ministry of Agriculture will have a budget of over 11m euros compared to 2021, so said in an interview for Online Economy, Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Faton Peci.
He said that particular focus in next year the ministry will have the agro-turism sector.
“Invesions will be numerous under the budget draft that has passed on the first reading.
The Ministry of Agriculture will have a budget increase for over 11m euros compared to the current year”. “ ... I take on the positive reform trend of the revenues that the country's institutions have had in this case, I expect that even in the process of budget revision, but I also take to base the needs depending on which in different sectors I expect an exponential increase and investment in all the inevitable sectors that we will deal with some of the sectors that are not treated in the past as is the agro-vation sector that will have a special focus at the beginning of the year that will be in the category of grants<>
Minister Peci added that they will enter 2022 with policies drafted with two strategies, adopting over 20 laws within the agriculture sector.
One of the innovations that made us feel more comfortable in the sense of commitment for next year is that from the moment I took over the agriculture ministry, we've had 40 million euros of debt that we've addressed, but that we have enabled the implementation of direct payments but also one of the parts of the grants programme for 2020-20211).
We enter 2022 with policies drafted with two strategies. After a nine-year period of not passing any law on Government or Parliament we will test over 20 laws within the agriculture sector”.
“Access in 2022 without commitment and without the inevitable debt that the agriculture sector will find in a much more favourable situation. With a lot of innovation, activities and creativity with more support to our farmers and more leads and order for 2022”.
