Another KEK block out of operation, power production capacity cut

Kosovo Energy Corporation reports that from today to February 27th the A3th unit of the Kosova A thermal power plant will be out of operation because of its regular service. This is confirmed for Gazeta Express, KEK spokesman Skender Bucolli, who said that close to 750 megawatts [...] will be produced with current capacities.
Kosovo Energy Corps reports from tonight at 24:00 p.m. 28.01.2022 unit A-3 of TC Kosova A will be extracted from the operation, and according to the plan it is expected to be re-entered by dt.27.2.22 at 24:00”, he said.
Bucolli said KEK now operates with other units with capacity of approximately 750 MW/h power.
“Conform approved energy balances, KEK will continue operating with two TC-Kosovo B units (B-1 and B2) and two TC-Kosovo A units (A-4 and A-5) with a capacity of approximately 750 MW/h electricity. Also according to the operating rules, the company responsible for supplying universal consumers, as well as all interest parties, has been announced over the time, KEK spokesman has said.
Nearly a month has been out of operation unit B2 of TC Kosova B due to the destruction of turbines. This unit returned to office on January 23rd, which produces 245 megawatt hours. To regulate the collapse that lasted nearly a month KEK had also contracted a German expert from the company producing turbines.
For the B2 entity's functioning return to office, Prime Minister Kurti himself had announced that with the introduction to the entity's production, for every hour Kosovo pays about 50,000 euros in imports less or about 1.2m euros a day.
On the other hand, the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has proposed increases in energy prices, which today will be rejected even by protests from 2:00 in Pristina.
