The US calls on China for Russia-Ukrainian tensions: If there is a conflict, it is no good for you either.

The United States is increasing its pressure on Russia to prevent an invasion of Ukraine. “Nor Stream 2” is now in play. “We are continuing our talks with our German allies and I want to be clear with you today: if Russia invades Ukraine in one way or another, “Nord Stream 2” will not move forward”, Nuland said.
Washington hopes Russia will study what the United States has to offer and return to the negotiating table after receiving the written answer it has requested.
Referring to China, which has publicly expressed its support for Russia's “reasonable concerns”, she said Beijing should use its “impact” in Moscow to prevent an attack on Ukraine.
“We urge Beijing to use its influence in Moscow to push (snows) into diplomacy, because if there is a conflict in Ukraine, it is not good either for China” she said.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke to his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during the day.
