The agreement between the two countries has been submitted for approval in Parliament, and aims at the citizens of the two countries receiving the pension of old age they deserve, regardless of how many years they have worked in one state or another.
The agreement determines the unification of insurance periods not only for retirement but also for family retirement or disability, provided they are not overemphasized.
The agreement envisions specific arrangements for the treatment of employed and self-employed persons, civil servants, members of diplomatic missions and consular offices and workers sent by the employer to work on his behalf in the other country.
Under the law “for social security” benefits from the scheme of these Albanian insurance and contributions, all those who will have over 15 years of secured work. / TvKlan Albania/
