Executive Commission for Proposal and Design of Basic Principles held today its first meeting for the founding of the Sovereign Fund of the Republic of Kosovo
The Group Workers made up of members was approved at the meeting: Arta Hoxha, Edison Yacurti, Emmanuel Bajra and Tea Blakaj Hoxha.
The Chairman of the Workers Group was elected Besnik Pula, professor at Virginia Tech University in the United States, at the same time adviser to Prime Minister Kurti for international economic relations, who made a brief presentation before the Commission.
Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that at this meeting, one of the biggest economic reforms in our country has been under way since independence.
“Today we are here to show that there are alternatives to the course that has been followed so far. One of them is, what we believe, the developing state. The state that is neither director nor spectator in the economy but co-sennarist and actor. In the function of concreteising the development state, we have thought about it, promised and will now realise one of its institutions -- the Sovereign Fund of the Republic of Kosovo”, Prime Minister Kurti said.
