“We stend...”, Blinken deletes the post from Twitter, softens the language of China

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has erased a post from the social network, Twitter, in which the Chinese government was criticised and US support for the people of Hong Kong was expressed. He then published another post with milder language. In the initial post published in the official account of the American top diplomat on Twitter [...]
In the initial post published in the official account of the American top diplomat tweeted: “Pejkin must let all the voices of Hong Kong residents be heard. The disqualification of district advisers from the PRC (Public Republic of China) only weakens Hong Kong's long-term political and social stability. We stay with the people of Hong Kong and continue to uphold its fundamental rights and freedoms. ”
His post came after China removed seven pro-democratic advisers two days after they had to deliver information to help determine whether their vows were valid, writes. Fox NewsReport Express.
After the initial post was scrapped, another post was later published in the same account, in which it reads: “disqualified of seven pro-democratic regional councilors from the People's Republic of China undermines Hong Kong's ability to participate in its rule. Governments must serve the people they represent. Low representation conflicts with the spirit of Hong Kong Base Law. ”
When contacted by Fox News television for a statement about the decision to erase the initial post, a State Department spokesman said that post was written in order to be published by the spokesman, not by Secretary Blinken.
“Ekipi, who manages the secretary's Twitter account, wrongly sent the post that was made to exit the spokesman. We arranged that concession and posted two accounts, speaking of the disqualified pro-democratic advisers from Hong Kong”, the spokesman said. He insisted that the post has not been erased due to political concerns.
