1 month detention for five arrested for Recak massacre

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has assigned the detention measure to five arrested on Sunday under suspicion that they have participated in the Recak massacre.
After holding the hearing hearing, the preliminary procedure judge has approved the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo for the appointment of the detention measure against N.P. indictees, S.J., B.P., S.M. and the S.S., setting the measure of detention in length of 1 (a month) each.
“I appreciate that the appointment of the detention measure to this criminal case is adequate because there is real danger that if the defendants are left in freedom, they can flee for the purpose of hiding and fleeing from criminal responsibility, as well as considering that all defendants are citizens of Serbia, there is real danger that they will be easily escaped and unable to be accessible to the organs of justice, with what they will be able to ensure their presence and the normal flow of the criminal procedure (4)1x>, said the Court of the Constitution of Pristina.
The court also estimates that if the defendants are released, there is danger of the same affecting evidence and witnesses, so it found that the detention measure for the time being is the only measure for the unhindered flow of criminal procedure in this criminal case.
