During July, 1,327 flights with 221,728 incoming travelers and 118,477 were completed.
Also, the exile continues to be one of the main sources of financing of family spending in Kosovo.
Kosovo Central Bank data shows that during six months of 2021, the diaspora has submitted 117.5m euros more than 2020. For this period, 552m euros were brought into our country, while the previous year was 434.5m euros - 113.3m euros more.
While, the World Bank says that since its declaration of independence, 12.6 billion euros have been sent to Kosovo.
According to the WB, participation of remittances in Kosovo's Brto Interior Production is 18.5 per cent.
The amount of remittances sent to Kosovo according to the years: 2008 858m euros, 2009 ʹ 865m euros, 2010 ʹ 825m, 2011 814m euros, 2012 nability 775m euros, 2013 867m euros, 2014 PACE 901m euros, 2015 yet 796m euros, 2016 808m euros, 911m euros, 2018 1.13 billion euros, 2019 euro and 1.2 billion euros.
Of the preliminary results of the diaspora census, the number of Kosovo citizens living in different countries in Europe and the world, which have responded to the census, is about 350,000.
