Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has come to power promoting reciprocity with Serbia, while once he takes over the leadership of the state, he has made no concrete action, assessing Albert Maximi, former adviser to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The Social Democrat Initiative's mayoral candidate for the municipality of Vushtrria has estimated that with this governance, it is being favoured by Serbian businesses as local businesses are being damaged.
The current prime minister has come to power, promoting reciprocity. As he takes office, he has also removed the safeguards that have been imposed by past governments. We as the Initiative have led the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and there we have put in place certain measures, and we have even decided on the signs of conformity that the state of Serbia and the prime minister had in addition to the words he gave him has made no concrete action. There are even the conveniences that are constantly being seen. This is being done favouring Serbian businesses and damaging local businesses. I consider that the prime minister should keep his word on what he is doing, to stand up to local businesses and to stand up to local producers, because our country's economy can only develop when we have a developed business, if we have economic stability otherwise if it goes on this slow, considering that the pandemic has hit many businesses in Kosovo, this is not going to monitor economic development and growth of the GDP”, he said.
Of course, Maxhuni has said that this government is not even keeping its pledge to effective pandemic management, where, according to him, management is below zero level.
We are unfortunately in an alarming situation, we have a large number of deaths, record infection numbers. The current government has come with balance in hand trying to convince citizens that it will manage better, but unfortunately management is below zero”, he added.
Maxhun has further reiterated that campaigns should be cut and measures respected at political gatherings. Among other things, he said the race for the first of the Vushtrri municipality has been introduced to restore this city's dignity.
I'm going to put this race in because I think our country needs to go back to its citizens and people who love it. My political experience, originally as political activist and then as youth chairman, a member of the Headship of the Initiative, and recently the head of the cabinet has also made me realize how important it is for our country and our country to have people who have the courage to make decisions. My political experience and my commitment to some decision-making processes in our country I consider to be the key point of why I am today in the race for the city of Vushtrri, my political commitment from the past so far has taught me how necessary it is for the citizens of Vushtrri to have a man who has the courage to make decisions, who opens doors to all citizens. I consider that my team and I, except that we are in the race, have great responsibility ahead of them. So far the municipality of Vushtrri has been closed to foreign investors, the diaspora. The problems in agriculture, health education have led me to join the single goal that the citizens of Vushtrri get their dignity”.
Maxhun estimates that so far this municipality has stalled in some areas by marking the politicisation of education, the lack of support to farmers, small and medium-sized businesses, these problems, which he says have caused Vushtrria to survey in the city's advancement. He has expressed conviction in the strong return of the Initiative in the autumn local elections to be held in Kosovo.
This is the beginning of the growth of the Social Democrat Initiative, we will gradually become powerful on the political scene, as we deserve because we consider ourselves a very serious political subject, we have brought important projects to our country. The initiative competes in all cities in most of them, even with candidates for chairman”, it is complete.
