This meeting with the ambassador came after the meeting held in Tirana with German Federal Republic Chancellor Angela Merkel, and discussion on bilateral and regional issues.
“Prime Minister Kurti praised the will expressed by Chancellor Merkel to boost co-operation in the region, always in the spirit of integration into the European Union. Also discussed was the development of today's joint gathering of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Northern Macedonia”, the ZKM communiqué said.
The prime minister stressed that this first meeting is an expression of readiness and interest to mark a new phase of bilateral co-operation and the realisation of common goals for the Western Balkans as the region of lasting peace, long-term security, democracy and socio-economic development.
