According to the communiqué issued by the Kosovo Communist Association, at this meeting, it was concluded that all preparations have been made on the part of the Kosovo municipalities and the Ministry so that the new school year can begin on September 1st with physical presence at school and full-time.
Minister Nagavci stressed that the recommendations of MS and IKKKPK, but also global practices, show that teaching this school year is beginning with physical presence at school. She informed the Municipal Education Directors of preparations for the Ministry's beginning of the school year.
Among other things, the minister stressed that the distribution of textbooks has already begun and very soon The DKA will also have revised protocols and Guides for organising instruction under the condition of pandemic.
The minister thanked the municipal directors, but also all other actors who manage the pandemic situation, for the work they have done so far. But she stressed the need for increased co-operation for the start of this school year, given the pandemic situation in the country.
Minister Nagavci also called on teachers, students and parents to take full care of, implementing measures recommended by the Ministry of Health and IKPK so that students do not lose even further instruction in the education process.
Kosovo Communist Association Executive Director Saban Ibrahimi and the head of the College for Education, Besim Avdimitaj stressed that it is good news to start school with school presence.
While the DKA directors said that schools were prepared for the start of the school year, while according to the statistics they presented, the average educational staff vaccinated with one and both doses of the vaccine is about 70 per cent so far.
