The delegations of Kosovo and Serbia are expected to meet in Brussels on 7 September and 8 September, under the dialogue for normalising relations, which the European Union is facilitating.
Diplomatic sources in Brussels confirmed the meeting, saying the negotiating agenda has not yet been scheduled.
The meeting is expected to be at the level of chief negotiating teams.
The Kosovo delegation will head the first Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, while Serbia's director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkovic.
The EU's special envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has talked over the phone with the two chief negotiators just to prepare their next meeting, REL reports.
“Pate content discussions divided, with Kosovo's first deputy prime minister, Besnik Bislimi, and with Serbia's Office for Kosovo director Petar Petkovic, about preparations for the upcoming meeting at the level of top negotiators”, Lajcak has written on Twitter.
The meeting of Kosovo and Serbia teams is expected to also serve to prepare a high-level meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
Even this meeting is expected to take place during the months of September, but the date for it has not yet been set.
The last high-level meeting was held on 19 July, but it has not produced any concrete results.
