Thanks to US assistance and European states, Kosovo has managed to evacuate two citizens who are in another safe state whose name does not become known, and will soon return to Pristina.
The total United States has evacuated over 5,200 people, including 2,000 in the last 24 hours. Washington has pledged to evacuate 22,000 Afghans considered at risk and all 15,000 American citizens still in Afghanistan.
President Joe Biden said no one will be left behind and the evacuation operation could continue beyond August 31st, as the deadline for the full withdrawal of Americans from Afghanistan.
According to data from Reuters, Great Britain since Sunday has evacuated about 1,200 people, including Afghans.
Germany has attracted 500 people, including 100 Afghans. France has evacuated 209 people, including 184 Afghans.
Spain has attracted 500 people, while the Netherlands has restored 35 of its citizens, as well as expressed readiness to take 1,000 Afghans.
Denmark has evacuated 84 people -- Hungary, its 26 citizens -- Poland 50 people, the Czech Republic 46 persons including Afghans, Japan 12 embassy employees -- Australia 26 persons including Afghans. India 170 people, as well as Turkey's 552 citizens. Switzerland aims to evacuate 230 Afghans.
