A strong demand for the return of the Coronavirus infected was recorded in July and August. In all, the Medcall emergency call centre organised 110 returns, including 23 from Kosovo and Northern Macedonia. Of these 23 returns, 18 dealt with patients with COVID-19, reports Swiss television.

Patients with COVID-19 have represented 50% of all returns to Switzerland in the past two months, Medcalll said, confirming information published by the German press. Critical care patients accounted for a total of 43%.

No fewer than 69 cases of return were still under procedure in Medical on Tuesday. According to the company, 54 of them were from Europe and 25 of them, or 36%, from Kosovo and North Macedonia.

The demand for return is examining it in detail. A team of doctors assess the patient's condition according to the Swiss standard before deciding on the return procedure in Switzerland.

Saturday's famous Swiss newspaper, SontagsZeitung has written about how Switzerland saw Kosovo's row over the rise of new corruption cases. In a long article, this newspaper writes how the next wave of COVID-19 erupted in Kosovo during the summer and how Switzerland was not prepared for exiles who would return there, after a break without any restrictions in Kosovo.
