Fight on the Health Commission: Bekim Haxhiu withdraws from head of anti-Convidian Law task force

Commission Health Chairman Fatmire Kolcak's request to health institutions not answer PDK deputy Bekim Haxhiu's questions has slammed MPs at today's meeting where they are discussing monitoring the implementation of the Law for Prevention and Combating of COVID-19.

MP PDK Bekim Haxhiu said that after the chairman's intervention the commission would withdraw from the task force for monitoring the Law's implementation for preventing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

It's an intervention in the processing group's work, it's a mini-work. It is absurd to send e-mail to institutions not to answer MPs' questions. I'm telling you, I can't work with a working group until you e-mail the institutions not to answer. I will no longer be part of this task force”, he said.

Commission Chairman Fatmire Kolcak, responding to MP Haxhiu, said the same has been misused on behalf of the processing group.

“You have misused on behalf of the processing group, you sent e-mail, you are out of the study field. You work hard in yourself, don't respect the” commission, she said.

MP Bekim Haxhiu has again reacted, who said he is not understanding why they are worried about the reports they have requested.

Why are you worried if we asked for a daily report, why are you worried I don't understand”, he said.
