The news was confirmed by President Recep Tayip Erdogan himself, who stressed that “Turkey does not have the luxury of sitting back in the unstable” region.
But what's going on in the field? Well-informed sources told the Dosa.al that for this very mission Turkey has also asked Albania for help.
The Turkish state wants 100 effectives, part of the Operational Forces and the FNSH to have part of the group going to Kabul Airport. The group with 100 special police efficiency will operate with the Turkish police group.
What is still unknown is whether the “Po is given by the Albanian state and how the talks between Turkey and the Taliban will go.
From the Turkish president's statement, Taliban seek an airport management, while ensuring that they will be in charge on their own.
But Erdogan seeks more information on how the air centre in Kabul will be controlled and how high-level security can be achieved. How long will the mission last? Who will be the chosen ones? We only have to wait.
