The chaos that was created has left other citizens injured. The Taliban first shot in the air to scare off the crowd.
Yet, citizens have not left. According to foreign media, the Taliban began shooting at citizens.
The U.S. warned all Afghan citizens to avoid Cabul Airport, as in addition to the Taliban, it is suspected that ISIS fighters have infiltrated, which would further make it difficult for them to leave the country.
