Security sources within Hamas, the group controlling Gaza, said the attacks hit the training centres. No reports of injured persons, writes The Guardian, broadcast the Express newspaper.
The Israeli Army through a statement said: “in response to fire balloons thrown toward Israeli territory today, fighter planes hit a location for weapons production belonging to the terrorist organisation Hamas. ”
On Thursday, the Israeli firepower service said the release of Gaza's fire balloons has caused four small fires in the southern region of Eskolon, which extends to the Gaza border.
These fires were said to be small and not dangerous, as well as quickly brought under control. A fire investigator determined that all fires were caused by fire balloons”, the announcement said.
The new incident came after reaching the ceasefire on 21 May. During the 11 days of fighting, 260 people were killed in Gaza and 13 in Israel. The ceasefire agreement was brokered from Egypt and came even after intense international pressure.
