Decani residents confess symptoms, insist they have been poisoned by water

The same ones before Kosovo's microphone insist that symptoms such as vomiting, fever, headaches and sluggishness are due to water poisoning, despite the IKSHPK's rejecting that water has been contaminated.

Kimete Dervisaj from the village of Glodjan of Decani is one of the victims of poisoning. She says the number of poisons in this village is huge.

She is convinced that her health deteriorated after water consumption.

“Logic, cold pain, ribs, fever, all. [...] Many family members are infected. [...] I'm in my family. [...] There's a lot around us. It's poison because we've got water and then we've been poisoned, like I drank my first glass in the morning. I've had a headache and a cold. [...] Good treatment is (by doctors) some (barna) we should buy, and some have”, she said.

Infected are eight-year-old girls and Agim Dodate's three-year-old son. He says they still don't know where this poisoning came from.

The first symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea. The correct reason has not yet been revealed. [...] (I am poisoned) 8-year-old and 3-year-old son. The boy is fine, but even the girl now after receiving the transfusion is fine”, Dodaj said.

Gevat Sheqiri, resident of Glodjani, says his family is already feeling better after medical treatment.

He is convinced that poisoning came from drinking water.

I've been touched by my wife, daughter, student in Pristina, but she's been here and she's gone Sunday, she's touched my son too, not me. [...] That's the same therapy anyone who came in. [...] Anyone who drinks water is poisoned, it is made of water”, this resident of Decani said.

In the last 24 hours with the same symptoms of medical treatment at the main Decani Centre, they have requested 310 patients, while only up to noon today have 55 citizens been treated. In total, the figures of poisoned persons have gone to 1,000 62. This data has revealed to QKMF director in Decan, Selmon Berisha.
