About 900 Decani citizens were poisoned: Ministry of Health calls conference

Hundreds of residents of Decani have sought medical assistance at the Main Centre of Family Medicine in this municipality, as a consequence of poisoning, and the main suspicion is thought to be drinking water.

While, in this case, the Health Ministry has called the news conference at 7:00.

According to the ministry, the conference's theme will be <x0information on the question of water poisoning cases for citizens of the Decani municipality”.

It should be noted that even the mayor of the Decani municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, has said it is suspected that water has been deliberately poisoned.

He has said 884 citizens from Saturday to today have sought medical assistance at the QKMF.

Ramosaj has said that he has made the decision to stop using water.

And according to him, the results have shown that there are chemically no water problems but that biological tests are being expected.

We've made the decision not to use water. We've invited the prosecution, investigators, state police, I KSHPK, company “Hirdrin” who are doing the job of having exact expertise”, he said.

Ramosaj has said further that this is not the first time such problems are being reported.

He has indicated that it is the second time such a thing is happening and that it has caused them to have doubts that these problems can be intentional.
