The immunisation of two senior Kosovo state officials has taken place at the October 1st Hall in Pristina, which has been transformed into the vaccine centre.
According to the announcement, Osmani and Konjufca have looked closely at “preparation for mass inoculation that will begin next week”.
“President Osmani, in this case has ordered all citizens to immediately begin mass inoculation, respond to the health ministry's inoculation invitation. The vaccines are safe and only through the vaccine and respect of the measures will we be able to return to normality by defeating the COVID-19” virus, the report says.
Even the head of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, has invited citizens to take the vaccine because, according to him, inoculation becomes possible, restoring normality, but general stability.
Minister of Health in Kosovo Arben Vitita has announced that nearly 100,000 citizens have been vaccinated so far with at least one dose of the vaccine.
According to him, the vaccine has had no serious side effect on any of the vaccinated.
