It says that authorities were investigating the causes of the sabotage, not showing how it was carried out.
The Iranian Organisation for Atomic Energy describes the Nuclear Karaj Centre as an facility founded in 1974 that uses nuclear technology to improve land, water, agricultural and biometric products”.
The reported sabotage follows a series of suspected attacks targeting Iran's nuclear programme in recent months.
Natanz's nuclear facility had also experienced a mysterious attack in April when some centrifuges were damaged.
