30 soldiers have already been summoned back to Germany from Lithuania.
Annegret Kramp-Carrenbaer has said that the <x0 scandal was flared” for all those serving in the armed forces [Bundeswehr].
Reports speak of sexual attacks, harassment, anti-Semitism and Nazi songs, the BBC reports, translates Periscopi.
German troops were part of NATO's mission.
“Between their behaviour these soldiers have put the entire military reputation at risk,” she said.
These claims, first reported by Der Spiegel, relate to a party held at a hotel in Lithuania late April.
Toga members allegedly filmed an incident of sexual assault against another soldier while singing anti-Semitic songs. Later, other claims were made about sexual and racial abuse.
These soldiers had also celebrated Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler's birthday on April 20th. /Periscope
