Family employment, principle changes: Kurt calls on activists not to take holidays but to protect the movement

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti today attended the meeting of the Vetevendosje Movement General Council, and from there sent numerous messages to activists of the Vetevendosje Movement, until he mentioned local elections even so far, even though no candidate has been made public by this political subject. Prime Minister Kurti scored 100 days of government in [...]
Prime Minister Kurti marked the government's 100 day at the helm with him, until it was criticised by the opposition that there was more regrass than progress.
Employment of family members, failure to manage pandemics, ranging from delays in vaccines and in delivering vaccines, to statements by cabinet ministers of this government, were some of the points where the Kurti government marks poor achievements for these 100 days.
While giving his speech to the Council General of this Movement, Kurt sent a message to activists, telling them that they should not be connected to individuals, but to the idea and the program.
Over the years, the opposite of what Prime Minister Kurti said has proved true. Links, labels, and campaigning against anyone and everything that criticised Leader Kurti was an injustice to them, and had to be avoided necessarily, writes Metro newspaper.
Among other things, Prime Minister Kurti said power should not change us until there were some former activists of this movement, and co-party who clearly said Kurti had changed principles, promises and beliefs since he took power.
He added that the Vetevendosje Movement is being attacked with slander and untruth, forgetting that the biggest attacks often come from the Movement itself, and the activists' groupings.
Even that the activist should not seek friendship with the chairman, but with the citizen was mentioned by Kurti, until for 100 days the government was reported on the many employments of family members, VVCI activists.
Dialogue with Serbia, the employment of family members, the capture of institutions were just some of the points Kurti during his opposition time did not agree to if his party would win, but all these progresses disappeared after the 14 February elections.
Prime Minister Kurti met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on boards, accommodated numerous family members, and some of them were activists, but did not do what the institutions had promised.
Former activists of the Vetevendosje Movement repeatedly say they feel betrayed when their leader violated the principles they dragged on in numerous organised protests while in opposition.
Part of Kurt's speech:
” Movement targeting should be not connected to the individual, but to the idea and program. The activist should seek, not friendship with the mayor, but friendship with the citizen. None of the mayors will rule with their friends alone, and no social group will take control of any centre or municipality. Therefore, negative campaigns should be halted, as should public self-respondings or pompous self-rules, as well as claims that someone has support from the third level or the leadership of the movement. Support given only in a statuteic, democratic and institutional way is not supporting a photograph or a meeting somewhere with someone.
Power should not change us, but to avoid falling prey to change, we must constantly remind ourselves of our ideals and the sacrifice of martyrs. We need to keep our eyes open, and signal irregularities in relation to governance and administration, as are citizens in developed European and Western countries. Only then can we develop and strengthen our country.
Dear activists and honoured delegates to the General Council. This hot summer, it's not the best time for vacation. You see how the movement with the special war of slander and falsehood is being attacked. The reason is that they want us not to repeat the February 14th result. But we must confirm our victory, while other parties must give them the message that you can have better results, only when corruption is removed from among them and reformed deeply. ”
