The state-run senior exam will be held at 177 testing centres, while seniors will have 100 questions from four subjects. This time again, the state senior exam will be organised on a single day, and to pass this test, seniors must have at least 40 correct answers.

The chief of the review division at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Fatmir Elez, says they have already made all preparations to keep this test.

The Matura Test is held on June 26th, Saturday. MASTI has made all preparations for the management of this test, with the management of the test in co-ordination with the municipal directors being appointed commissioners and test supervisors... This year's maturity has been presented by less than 24 thousand seniors, there are 177 test centres throughout the entire territory of Kosovo”, he says.

For the prosperity of the State Matura test, 550 commissioners will take care of it, and in one class there will be no more than 15 students.

“In the centre of testing is a representative of AugustI, two of the municipal education directors and there are two supervisors... on the country level are about 550 commissioners, 550 supervisors. Besides, there's an observer in every center who did a test management survey... Most of the classes have 12 students, at best there are 15 students in one class, depending on the space that is in schools”, he says.

Elez made it known that seniors will have 100 questions from subjects of Albanian, English, mathematics, and a subject that seniors themselves choose.

Since the lesson has been held in the condition of the pandemic, and the lesson has been maintained over time and over again online, Elesey points out that they have taken into account that those units that are not taught by students are not included in the test.

The state senior's test this time again has calysity criteria, where seniors must have the least 40 correct answers in order to pass the test.

Even this year, as we decided last year to have the test organized on just one day, means general language and choice subjects are on the same day with a total of 100 questions. There are four subjects, three general subjects, native language, English, and mathematics, and a subject chosen by the student himself. They all have 25 questions... The transition criteria are defined in the Law, 40 percent of the total test, which means to pass the test student must have 40 questions of 100 questions... Questions designers have had that information and have tried not to include material not learned this year. It means content is from class10, 11 and 12, so questions will be asked that students have already learned during the” teaching process, Elez says.

In order to prevent any misuse, Elez says students will not be allowed to use phones at the center of the test. In case someone is telephoned during the trial, he says the same will be excluded from the test.

And we've always said that phones are prohibited at the center of the test, now we've made sure that if the student comes to the center by phone because of the law and in the regulation that students themselves have taken written you clearly that on test day they should have only a pencil and a bottle of water, no other means, no phones. It means that they have no right to take the phone with them at all, if the manager by chance finds out that a student has the phone in his classroom even if he doesn't use it at all, he should take it off the test. It's good not to come by phone at the<x1 trial center that day, he says.

The chief of the review division at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Fatmir Elez, says even safeguard clauses against the COVID-19 will be respected in each testing centre.

While, as far as results from this test are concerned, he says he does not expect any change from the previous years, despite the development of the teaching under the condition of the pandemic.

We have noted that there have been no major differences from previous years, so we expect a result similar to the previous years”, he says.

The results of the state senior exam will be released 5 July by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
