The United Arab Emirates are alarmed by the outbreak of violence in Israel and Palestine. We express our condolences to all victims of recent fighting and join others in calling for the immediate halt to violence and hostility”, the chief diplomat of the Emirates said.
“The US calls on all sides to take immediate steps to pledge a ceasefire and launch a political dialogue and maximum maintenance exercise”, Minister Al Nahyan added.
“We reflect on the promise that Abraham's Accords apply to the current and future generations, to live with their neighbours in peace, dignity and prosperity”, the minister of the United Arab Emirates said next.
He also said he offers all of his country's support in efforts to reduce tensions, Reuters writes, broadcast Gazeta Express.
Otherwise, at least 132 people have been killed in Gaza on Monday, including 32 children and 21 women, while another 950 have suffered injuries, Palestinian medics said.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities said that among the eight killed so far are a soldier who patrolled the border and six civilians, including two children.
