GDF: In Lipjan, not only cocaine was seized but also other items

In this company's warehouse and several other locations besides cocaine, police have seized weapons, bullets, money, cars and phones. This was achieved thanks to a co-operation between the US DEA, Italian, Albanian and Kosovo authorities.
The staggering amount of cocaine was loaded in Latin America as it came from Brazil in a chicken container.
The ABC has secured the reaction of the Italian side, namely, the Guardia di Finanza Comando Provincial Regio Calabria, who have also explained how drugs were caught.
GDF stresses that at least 25 people have been detained and 7 of them have been cuffed as suspects in the involvement of the cocaine trafficking.
The illegal shipment was identified by Fiamme Gialle and by the officers of the Gioia Tauro Customs Agency through X-ray scans conducted with sophisticated equipment at the port of Gioia Tauro, a transit container from the port of Santos (Brazil), and directed to a company based in Lipjan (Kosovo).
To identify the perpetrators of the illegal mass traffic, Regio Calabria Public Prosecution, The DDA ordered the execution of an international shipment by not taking drugs. So in co-operation with the Kosovo and Albanian prosecution, the large quantity of cocaine was left to be sent to the destination, where the arrest of persons involved in this international traffic was later possible.
Drugs, if sold in retail at European drug trade centres, would have allowed organised crime to earn over a hundredm euros.
