Prime Minister Solberg has congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on taking office, highly praising bilateral relations and constructive co-operation between the two countries.
It expresses confidence that these relations will be further strengthened during Prime Minister Kurti's mandate.
Solberg emphasises that further Euro-Atlantic integration is key to stability and economic development in Kosovo. It provides Norway's full support for the necessary reform processes and for Kosovo's ambitions to join the European Union.
Furthermore, it hints that normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia would be an important step forward in this direction, while ensuring that Norway will closely follow developments and continue to provide assistance in the process.
In closing the letter of congratulations, Prime Minister Solberg expresses the desire to meet with Prime Minister Kurti and to continue strengthening co-operation in areas of common interest.
